Tamenglong District

This is the least populous district of Manipur. Tamenglong district comprises of virgin forests, exotic orchids, rare and endangered plants, and wildlife. Area: 4,391 Sq. Km. Flora: Zousiang (uningthou) , ndung (Sahikuhi), mphou (oak), nthaeng (tairen),chongrei (talhao), makou, junh, gaeng (uwah), gaengthing ( semi Uwah), n-ngaih, agau, Aguretc, cane and bamboo, thatch grass, Cinnamon, wild apple, wild banana, wild cherry, wild walnut, wild mangoes, luikhumthai, Lichi, Passion fruit, neithai, Lemon, Orange, Tachuthai, Mushroom, Morels.
